At Volition Cap, our CEO is looking for an EA who is called to serve. Not someone who wants proximity to power. And not one who is more interested in being mentored than in doing their job.

The ideal EA must be adaptable, rising to the occasion when accompanying the CEO to high-level meetings and switching it up to relate with artisans and personal staff. They also understand they have to live by the CEO’s clock.

This is a Management role, as it requires project management experience and exposure. But the EA can recruit an assistant to support.

Our CEO needs someone to manage their life’s work. Who can take ideas scribbled on a phone and turn them into slides and project plans that can be implemented? The ideal candidate must have a sense of urgency. Our CEO moves from idea to MVP in weeks, not months. They move very fast.

In this position, the EA will work on exciting projects, and there’s room to grow across our global organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Support: Act as a key resource to the CEO, helping to execute strategic priorities and to drive high-level projects.
  • Schedule & Calendar Management: Manage the CEO’s schedule, ensuring optimal time allocation across meetings, engagements, and priorities.
  • Communication Management: Draft, review, and filter correspondences, concept documents and briefs, ensuring effective communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external contacts, managing relationships with discretion and professionalism.
  • Project Management: Oversee and track key initiatives, ensuring they are progressing in line with business objectives.
  • Meeting Coordination: Prepare for meetings, including creating agenda, taking notes, and ensuring follow-up actions are documented and executed.
  • Event & Travel Coordination: Plan and organize travel, accommodation, and itineraries to facilitate seamless logistics for the CEO.
  • Personal Assistance: Recruit and manage the CEO’s personal assistant and other personal staff to ensure all domestic matters are taken care of.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A university degree or equivalent certification.
  • 10+ years of experience in a related role.
  • Proven track record of working with CEOs or Executives.
  • Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Global exposure.
