Volition Cap seeks an Investor Relations Manager (IRM) with direct responsibility for its clients – individuals and organizations. This individual will onboard clients, deliver information, respond to enquiries and prepare relevant correspondences and reports.
The Investor Relations Manager, though not primarily tasked with sales, must be able to close sales for new clients and upsell products to existing ones. They will assist Opportunik in achieving its mandate of unlocking prosperity for Africans through alternative investments.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing investors, serving as the main point of contact for inquiries and updates.
  • Regularly communicate the company’s financial performance, key developments, and strategic initiatives to investors through various channels.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to address any adverse situations impacting the company’s image and investor confidence.
  • Identify and target potential new investors, both institutional and individual, to expand the company’s investor base.
  • Organize roadshows, conferences, and other events to attract and engage potential investors.
  • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of financial information to investors.
    Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide insights to the executive team and investors.
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis to assess the company’s performance against industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
